During my six-month internship, I was primarily responsible for the localization of the VITA app, including market research and localization improvements for the Vday app, store and template feature. I worked with the South Korean technical team on Agile development, swiftly making changes to Vday.

I wear many hats during this internship. Most of the time, I am a product manager, dealing with market research and creating weekly user reports to provide insights. And I also took responsible in research. Conducted user research about our current app, followed every user flows. Also, I sketched the 'MBTI template' for marketing events.

Based on quantitative data from backend data tracking software, I summarize the weekly hot topics, and generate heatmaps in locations within the app based on the data.

2 Iterated the template section
I conducted three rounds of user interviews and iterated on the template functionality. Previously, the Vday platform did not have tags and labels categories at the top of the page, making it difficult for users to locate relevant template categories.
Therefore, I provided insights on this feature. After the redesign, users can promptly track the latest trending content, and this iteration has also increased our user engagement rate.

Embracing Imperfection: I've always aimed to perfect every design to my complete satisfaction, but in the real world, it's often a cycle of encountering problems and then making improvements. Iterating bit by bit, so not demanding 100% satisfaction from myself but instead gradually enhancing, has been the biggest takeaway from this internship.
